I'm going to make a prediction

I think MK Davis will eventually turn and do a 180....making the statement that he and others (lets not forget that you have to drag the whole mystery and as many involved as possible down the toilet with you when you go awol) have been wrong, and that that the PG Film shows a man in a costume.

This may take a little time, but he doesn't seem to like to see dust settle (understatement). So maybe next year...maybe a little longer, maybe a little sooner....but I have a feeling he's going to go for the gusto and reach for the big attention getter one of these days.

Why do I think he'll go that direction?.

Because when the current well runs dry... and it will... he'll NEED (key word) to do a 180 to get that fleeting feeling of 'importance' back...the 15 minutes that he apparently misses so badly.

Ad that saying the film is a fake (while wearing the plastic badge of an 'expert') may be his best move of all...as we all know there are plenty of media outlets that will jump at the 'it's a fake' story along with his 'proof' and imaginative statements of that time period. All sorts of things have appeared thus far, so why not a zipper. He'll be 'famous' briefly, and no longer a "charlie in the box" until he's sent back to his island.

I really don't like to single folks out and take what could be construed as 'cheap shots'...but now and then things need to be said...and being MK feels he can say whatever comes to mind regarding those invloved in the PG Film I'm sure he wont mind that I'm making my own observations. I also realize that many (me included) are tired of hearing the letters "MK"...but I felt the need to document my thoughts here, so take em for what they're worth to you ;).

Switching gears and direction.......

I hope you all had a great Summer...

As I stated awhile back my main focus was to be fishing and RVing with my family this Summer and it was a great Summer...I taught my son the art of using a handful of 'go to' artificial lures and a couple of weeks ago he landed a smallmouth bass that qualifies for a citation :). That fish, and watching him fight and land it was the highlight of my Summer, and a moment in fatherhood that I'll never forget.

We took an RV trip to an area that I've wanted to visit for several years...and to a lake that holds some huge land lock Stripers (Striped Bass)...we plan to spend a lot of time out there in the coming months to target those giants.

I put a deposit on a new boat yesterday...some of you may remember that we were relocating to TX last Summer and we pulled out at the 11.5 hour mark....one of the casualties of that relo process was me selling my boat, and it has been a struggle financially to replace it ever since...but I got a deal on a scratch and dent special yesterday...my whole crew will fit in it comfortably...and our fishing adventures will soon be expanding together.

So for me bigfoot remains on the back burner for the most part...there are a couple blogs I need to catch up on because I do enjoy reading what a handful of people have to say....but otherwise the break from this field has been nice.

As Neil Young would sing..."I won't retire..but I might retread."

ie...I'm not sure when there will be any real bigfoot content back on this blog...I just don't have 'that drive' at the moment, and fishing with my kids has been too fun.

So here's my tip for this entry:

I encourage you to read the writings of a few dedicated folks I respect in this field... The Blogsquatcher blog by DBDonlon is top notch...for a multitude of up to the minute Cool Crptid info there is Crptomundo...and Mike aka The Texas Cryptid Hunter is working on a cool camera project that I'm just now catching up on.

PS...don't forget where you heard the "MK does a 180" prediction first (as far as I know anyway)...I'm "passing go" in regards to this particular nut...so wait, watch, and see the way a squirrel plays the game ;)

My Bigfoot Video

I recently got a video clip of Bigfoot in South Jersey...rather than share it with the world on YouTube I thought about my readers here ;)

The Fall (and time for me to hit the woods again) is around the corner.

Hope everyone is doing great and enjoying what's left of Summer....

Mind Games

Been busy...ya know that fishing thing I mentioned here.

But I did catch Monsterquest last week, and I really did enjoy that episode.

For one thing, the semi camo of the game cams....in attempt to hide the box cams....thank you.

When I watched a well known scientist just strap one to a tree in one of the first episodes I knew then and there that he has underestimated his foe.

No disrespect intended....but just strapping a cam to a tree in plain site and expecting this elusive being to step in front of it and 'smile'....let's get real for a moment shall we.

Another part of last week's episode that really struck me...the part where the lead investigator in a very, very large government task force announced to the media that the result of the investigation into the mass sightings were nothing other than "hysteria".

"Hysteria"

And the result of that statement:

They stated that the mass sightings of the 'monkey-man' ended immediately.

Kinda makes ya wonder...it's our job to do that ya know...to wonder about it all...including what lurks in the power of our minds.

Being Played?

Game...via Wikipedia:

Game: Any nondomesticated animal hunted for food and sport.

Game: "A game is an activity among two or more independent decision-makers seeking to achieve their objectives in some limiting context." (Clark C. Abt)

I (and a few others) use the term game cameras....and it's funny until recently I didn't realize how well that term fits.

Some folks call them trail cameras.

Others call them camera traps.

No matter what you call them they seem to have limited use when it comes to seeking this subject.

Which brings me to the point of this entry....see that quick and relatively painless ;)

The Blogsquatcher is working on a project and he needs your help:

Quote:
One of the things I'm working on right now is getting some more material about how hard it is to get a good picture of a Sasquatch. I've got a few good leads but could use some more. Have you yourself had, or do you perhaps know of anyone else who has had difficulty in getting good pictures in an area where you are pretty sure Bigfoot are around? Odd camera malfunctions, or triggers of the camera. I know that there are mundane explanations for these things, but what I'm looking for is to see if there is a pattern somewhere in this mess. So if you think you can help, let me know, either in comments, or via email, or even by phone. Contact info over on the right.

NOTE: I'm particularly interested in those who set out gamecams frequently.

Every now and then I get a little twinkle of light from my minds dimly lit light bulb...it is a feeling, hard to explain but it happens, and I know to listen now when it does...often times these twinkles come from outside sources, less often they are generated "in house".

One of these moments occurred yesterday...I had a couple hours of quiet time and was reading "In the Spirit of Seatco"....I was reading along and hit page 122, it was then that my mind's eye twinkled.

Antagonizing these beings is among the most foolish things you could possibly do in the world. If you actually by some miracle succeed in antagonizing them, you are double toast.

Though I haven't actually been turned to toast...I could be considered "toasted" by many reading this blog. Putting my lame humor aside though some very 'double toast' things did occur after I pushed the issue when trying to see one of these beings, and going back to where I felt they were after being given the strong message that it was time for me to leave. At one point I said something (cursed at them) while moving forward while fighting the very strong feeling that I was getting that I shouldn't be moving forward and back to the edge of that area for another close look.

While trying to sort out the happenings that took place after that encounter (described in The Return Series, see the side bar at the right of this blog for links) I've felt that I must have pushed the issue too far that day....the light bulb moment I received yesterday assures me that was the case.
